Mono-coloured decorative ornaments are called Leluja and are characteristic Kurpian and Carpathian decorations. Such papercut can be sicked to the wall or hanged in the frame as a proper picture. Round shapes are called Gwiazda (Star), and forest scenes on levels, simply Las (Forest).
Traditionally they're cut-out with scissors, that were used once for sheep shearing.

Łowicz-
Wycinanka Łowiecka. It is more complex and colourful, full of layers. You can see some more examples
